Hospitality: We are looking for a volunteer willing to make phone calls to schedule cookie bakers for Sunday mornings. This would be a six month or twelve month commitment. If you are interested or want more details please speak to Anne Older or call the church office.

Planning meeting for African Spring Dinner: All interested in planning for the March 27 African spring dinner are invited to attend a March 14 meeting in the small meeting room at 11:30 a.m. Some items related to the Committee on Ghana will also be discussed. If you’d like to help and can’t attend the meeting, see Fatmata Hilton, Felicia Kollie-Gambles or Lois Wilson.

Needed: If you get your milk from Meadowbrook Dairy, please save the plastic tops from the glass bottles. We will be using them for a craft at the African Spring Dinner on March 27. Thank you!

Are you internet savvy? Go to www.journeytothecross.org for a great, free online Lenten devotion. Scripture, prayer, accompanied by gentle music can be accessed every day through Easter Sunday.

Flowers: The chart for 2010 is in the Welles Room for those wishing to request flowers for a particular Sunday, either as a memorial or in celebration of a special event. The cost is $30 per vase. You may donate one vase or both vases. Please sign-up on the chart or call the church office. March 14 is open.

Save the Date: Sunday, June 6, 2010 for the WPC Church Picnic at the Menands Town Park.

Schuyler Inn Party on March 21: Marianne and Lois Wilson are looking for volunteers for this party. Schedule: set-up, 1 p.m.; crafts and games, 2 p.m.; 3 p.m., Bingo. End of party and discussion of next steps, 4 p.m.

FOCUS Interfaith Food Pantry: During the month of March Westminster is asked to donate shampoo. Donations may be left in the bin located in the Chestnut Street hallway.
