Capital Camp for Kids: Our World/ God's World

At Capital Camp for Kids-Day 1, the walls of Jericho weren't the only ones falling down. Watch and see what happened to our "walls".

Come join us at Capital Camp for Kids the week before Labor Day-- August 30,31, Sept. 1 as we all learn about God and walk to the many sites around Westminster.

From the top of the Corning Tower,
to the eagles out and about the many
                            buildings,
to our State’s historic Capital Building,
                                to fountains all around,
to a park named after a French General.

Come and make the last week of summer vacation a great one! A walking scavenger hunt every day--out and about and around our church! Do you know all the sites and treasures that can be found within blocks of Westminster? You'll "find" out!

Lunch and snacks will be provided by Westminster. Bring a drink container and we'll fill it up when we go out and around the town on our special quests.

We will start each day at Capital Camp for Kids with praise in song and lessons from the Bible. Activities will include some classic arts and crafts and "building" some really cool stuff! (Too cool to be called “crafts”!) Make sure you give us your t-shirt sizes. We will be doing a fair amount of walking... so wear sneakers! And the prime item for camp bring YOU!

Please fill out the forms and send them in today! Space is limited to the first 20 campers aged pre-k through 6th grade. The camp will run from 9:30 am until 2:00 pm.  Let us know if you need a ride!

Capital Camp for Kids cannot be possible without the help from our energetic Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers! Parents, field trips aren’t any fun without chaperones! Come join us! We will also be asking adults from church to help out as well.

I would like more info about going to Capital Camp for Kids.
